Denis started his massage therapy practice in 2009 after graduating from The West Coast College of Massage. His passion for massage was born while working through his own injuries, and supporting friends and family through their physical challenges. Since becoming a therapist, Denis has worked extensively with standard and complex orthopaedic conditions, concussions, pregnancies as well as the stressors of everyday life, chronic neck, back and pelvic issues.
He strives to find daily activities that will benefit you, the client, which can also be integrated with ease. Denis’s passion for understanding his clients’ needs and exploring new models of therapy, have allowed him to find a variety of ways for clients to integrate activity into their lives.
As a Registered Massage Therapist, Denis has combined a variety of treatment models with the base models being myofascial, deep muscle release, and cranial sacral therapy. Within this framework he continues to work with his clients to find balance between mind/body and the body’s ability to hold and release emotions. His work can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in combinations with other professional services such as physiotherapy, psychotherapy, yoga therapy, etc. When he’s not at the clinic he is teaching Anatomy and Physiology, playing the sport of the season, or sitting back and enjoying a little time to himself.
